Family Shame! Julia Roberts' Sister-In-Law Arrested After Bar Fight -- Inside The Embarrassing Episode

July 21 2015, Updated 1:46 p.m. ET
Just a few weeks after her mother's funeral, Julia Roberts has been rocked by another family tragedy: Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned that her husband Danny Moder's troubled sister, Jyl Moder, was arrested after a bar fight.
According to a police report obtained by Breaking Celebrity News, Jyl was arrested just after midnight on July 20 on Bursera Way in Palm Desert. An insider told Breaking Celebrity News the arrest followed a verbal fight at the bar at Sullivan's Steakhouse in Palm Desert, just over a mile away. But a manager at Sullivan's denied any knowledge of the incident.
The arrest report states Jyl was booked into Indio County jail at 1:21 am, and charged with felony inflicting injury on a spouse or cohabitant. According to the California penal code, such charges mean she "willfully inflicted corporal injury" that left her victim in a "traumatic condition."

She faces up to four years in jail and/or a $6,000 fine.
As Breaking Celebrity News has reported, Jyl has been a constant source of strain for Roberts and her spouse.

Insiders previously said that Jyl blamed Roberts for the death of her mother, Patti Moder, from a heart attack in 2011.
Roberts has faced her share of family drama in recent years: Her half-sister Nancy Motes died in February 2014, after accusing her of being a "B*TCH" in brutal rants published days before her death.
Her mother, Betty Motes, then died in February, and was buried in May.
Story developing.
