EXCLUSIVE: Redmond O’Neal Arrest – It Was Heroin

Redmond O’Neal was in possession of heroin and xanax when he was arrested on Sunday, Breaking Celebrity News has learned exclusively.
The troubled son of Ryan O’Neal and Farrah Fawcett has been in and out of drug rehab several times, and fled from one last week. That story was also exclusively reported first on Breaking Celebrity News.
He was arrested Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the visitors parking lot of the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California and held on $25,000 bail.
He was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Sources close to the situation told Breaking Celebrity News that Redmond, 24, had heroin and xanax on him. While some reports have said he was accompanying friends who were visiting a buddy in jail, Breaking Celebrity News learned that Redmond was also visiting the man, who is a friend of his.
Meanwhile, Redmond’s mother, Farrah Fawcett was hospitalized in the Los Angeles area, suffering a serious setback in her battle against cancer. Breaking Celebrity News was first to report Farrah’s hospitalization.
Ryan O’Neal was arrested with his son Redmond in late 2008 and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
While police can -- and do -- routinely search the cars of visitors to the Pitchess Detention Center, sources close to the situation told Breaking Celebrity News that Redmond, who was driving, was acting erratically and drew attention to himself.
