Eva Longoria Parker has gone back to school. That's what Breaking Celebrity News learned from the Desperate Housewife when we caught up with her at The Hollywood Reporter's Annual Women in Entertainment breakfast Friday.

"I wanted to learn more about our particular history in America and so I am getting a Masters in Chicano Studies," she said.

Eva spoke at the event about the importance of women helping women in Hollywood.  She also told us that she now spends most of her time on her charitable work, and then there is that "little day job known as Desperate Housewives."

The event was held at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Halle Berry, Hilary Swank, Nicole Sullivan, Anna Lynne McCord and Maria Bello also attended.
