Britney Spears Conservatorship To Continue

A judge in Los Angeles Thursday announced that the conservatorship involving Britney Spears' vast estate will continue as is - at least for the time being.
After meeting separately in closed chambers with both Spears and with her father Jamie - who controls his daughter's personal and financial matters- Judge Reva Goetz said in open court, "I met with him (Jamie) and her (Britney) spearately. I had a very nice conversation with her. Mr. Ingham (Britney's attorney) was present."
In all, Judge Goetz met with Britney for about a half hour; she did not reveal what they discussed.
Judge Goetz then said another hearing on the matter will be held on October 14.
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Spears - wearing a black dress with an open back and black ankle boots - arrived to the courthouse around 9:20 a.m. PT. Thursday for the status hearing. She was surrounded by deputies and taken immediately into the judge's chambers; her father had arrived to the courthouse earlier in the morning.
