Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker is reportedly on the verge of filing for divorce from her jock husband Tony Parker. 

A source told US Wednesday that the celebrity marriage is crumbling under the weight of a relationship the San Antonio Spurs guard has been carrying on with a a mutual female friend of the couple's, backed up by hundreds of text messages between the pair over the past year.

"Eva is heartbroken by the betrayal," one source told the magazine, while another added, "Once the trust was lost, the marriage was over -- Eva truly thought she was going to grow old with Tony and have children with him -- she’s inconsolable."

On Tuesday, People published a similar report, claiming that Eva - who a source said was "totally and completely blindsided" by Tony's alleged cheating - could file divorce papers as early as Wednesday.
