Lindsay Lohan’s British socialite friend Lady Victoria Hervey has told Breaking Celebrity News: “The case should be thrown out now.”

Hervey was reacting to the news that the owner of the Venice jewelry store, from which Lindsay is accused of stealing a necklace, sold the surveillance footage for a reported $35,000 to a media outlet

In addition the owner of Kamofie & Co is reportedly also trying to profit from the tape by distributing footage on the Internet too.

Hervey said: “The case should be thrown out now. I think it’s pretty clear to anyone what they are about.

“One doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that these jewelers have totally used this situation for press.”
