Katie Couric’s father, John M. Couric,  has died at the age of 90, Breaking Celebrity News has learned.

Couric passed away Wednesday at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington of complications from Parkinson’s disease.

Katie often spoke publicly about her father's illness and mentioned several times over the past few months that he was in failing health.
