A duet by jazz legend Tony Bennett and tragic singer Amy Winehouse is to be released to raise money to help young people fight addictions.

Winehouse, who was found dead at her Camden home on July 23, 2011, aged only 27, had battled drugs and alcohol for several years.

The singer is understood to have a lot of recorded material that will be released in the future but the jazz classic track Body And Soul which she recorded with Bennett is scheduled to be the first record her fans will hear since she died.

The pair recorded the track at London's Abbey Road Studios in March. It was one of Winehouse's last recordings prior to her death.

It will be released ahead of Bennett's Duets II album, out on 20 September.

Bennett told MTV: "What's going to happen is that we're putting that Body and Soul out ahead of the album.

"And it's going to a foundation that her father started - to teach all the young children not to take drugs, and all the royalties of the record will go to that."
