Paz de la Huerta is back in the headlines for brawling!

The Boardwalk Empire bad girl got into a scuffle with a pal at Brett Ratner’s Tower Heist afterparty on Monday night according to reports, but the actress insists that her drunk friend was to blame for the incident.

According to the New York Post, Paz was sitting at a table and accidentally spilled a drink over her friend, who proceeded to jump up and burst into tears. The staff attempted to make the situation better, bringing them napkins and bottles of water as Paz grabbed her friend’s arm and tried to apologize.

Her emotional friend shoved her away though and continued to wail until the two were helped out the door and into a taxi.

Paz, who was charged with assault earlier this year after a reported barroom brawl with The City star Samantha Swetra and plead guilty to harassment, insisted to the New York Post’s Page Six that she had not been drinking and that her ‘wasted’ friend was to blame.

“I haven’t had a drink since March 23,” she maintained. “I was drinking Coca-Cola. I brought a very good friend to the premiere who’s having problems. She got wasted. She lost her wallet and was screaming and wailing and acting irrational. She spilled a drink on herself when I reached over to
