The biggest event of this year’s awards season so far, the 2012 Golden Globe Awards, is finally here – and Hollywood’s hottest television and movie stars are ready for their big red carpet moment!

Breaking Celebrity News has photos of all your favorite celebrities in gorgeous gowns and terrific tuxes, making their way into the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the annual event.

This year’s most talked about nominees include George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Meryl Streep, Rooney Mara, Michelle Williams and Charlize Theron, with movies such as The Artist, The Descendents and The Help leading the pack with the most overall nominations.

Though some people found his jokes at the expense of Hollywood’s A-list offensive at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards , Ricky Gervais is returning as host of the show.
