Katy Perry has sold the posh New York penthouse she bought just a month before tying the knot with her-now-ex, Russell Brand.

The 27-year-old I Kissed A Girl singer, who split with the English wild-man late last year, was paid close to the $2.75 million she was asking for the 1,500 square foot pad in the Big Apple's trendy TriBeCa area. The idyllic home has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cherry wood staircase.

She also maintains a $1.9 million residence in Los Angeles, Calif.

As we previously reported, Brand, 36, has been spotted out with Mexican-born artist Oriela Medellin Amieiro since the breakup, while Katy's been linked to Florence + the Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd.

The Get Him To The Greek star filed for divorce from the Firework singer December 30 following a 14-month marriage which began with a lavish India wedding.
