Miami Face-Eating Cannibal Was On Marijuana NOT Bath Salts, Rules M.E.

The man who attacked a homeless man and ate his face in a cannibal zombie-style attack sparked a nationwide controversy over the danger of bath salts, but the medical examiner's report revealed on Wednesday that there was no sign of the synthetic drug in his system – only marijuana.
“The department has ruled out the most common drugs found in ‘bath salts,’" a press release from the Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s office announced, reported the Miami Herald.
The official findings debunk the speculation that Rudy Eugene, 30, was on the toxic mind bending concoction when he was found laying naked on homeless man, Ronald Poppo, on a Miami, Florida causeway last month while chomping on his flesh in a gruesome Silence of the Lambs style rampage.
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Eugene was shot dead by police after refusing to back down and growling when approached. His victim is still recovering in the Jackson Memorial Hospital where doctors are waiting to see if he is eligible for a full face transplant.
