She never got to meet her daughter-in-law but Diana would have approved of the stylish outfit that Kate Middleton wore for the wedding of the late Princess Of Wales' niece on Saturday.

Dressed in a Whiteley beige hat, pale grey floral dress, embellished coat and nude heels, the Duchess of Cambridge already embodies the image of an elegant royal just a year after her marriage to Prince William.

Kate is also continuing with her thrifty ways.  She's been photographed in the same heels several times, and this is the second appearance for the hat for which she paid just $130.

She and William attended the nuptials of Emily McCorquodale (whose mother is Diana's elder sister, Lady Sarah McCorquodale) and James Hutt in an English country church in Stoke Rochford, Lincolnshire.

Prince Harry was also at the wedding, and both brothers have remained close to their mother's side of the family since her death in August 1997.
