Demi Moore shrugged off rumors she's been struggling on Wednesday night, as the 49-year-old Ghost star looked healthy and elegant on the red carpet of a charity event in New York City.

Demi, clad in a dark-patterned gown, came out to support GEMS (Girls Educational & Mentoring Services), an organization "designed to serve girls and young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking."

Other celebs snapped at the event included Jada Pinkett Smith, Natasha Lyonne and India.Arie.

As we previously reported, the star's pals recently expressed concern she was still in the doldrums about ex Ashton Kutcher, who's taken up with Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive Mila Kunis as of late.

It's been a roller coaster ride for the star the past 13 months, from her split with Kutcher to a stint in rehab to problems with daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah Willis.
