Will Smith is hiding a secret arrest shame!
The 44-year-old Men In Black star took this mugshot for his alleged involvement in a brutal beat-down that left one man nearly blind, the National Enquirer reports in their new issue.
The vicious assault happened in 1989 in Will’s hometown of Philadelphia, just days after he won his first Grammy as half of the chart-topping duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince.
Police records state that Will got into an argument with record promoter William Hendricks and then allegedly asked his bodyguard, Charles “Charlie Mack” Alston, to attack Hendricks.
Hendricks suffered a fracture of his left eye orbit and needed six stitches to sew up the wound.
Smith, who was 20 at the time, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and criminal conspiracy. The charges were later dismissed.
