Is Halle Berry shopping for a church this holiday season?

The Academy Award winning actress, who has experienced a tumultuous year battling her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy Gabriel Aubry, escaped Los Angeles for the holidays with her French fiance Olivier Martinez, and jetted over to Paris where they were spotted checking out churches, and Breaking Celebrity News has the photos.

Bundled up in a winter coat, leather leggings and boots, Berry and Martinez held hands as they took a stroll in the City of Light's romantic Saint Germain Quarter.

According to onlookers, the couple checked out Saint-Sulpice and the Abbey of Saint-Germain-des-pres, two historic churches in the picturesque city.

Berry's on-going battle with Aubry escalated earlier this year after she announced that she wanted to move with their daughter, Nahla, to France with Martinez.

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, a family court judge nixed the plan, ruling on the side of Aubry, who was vehemently against his daughter moving to Europe.
