Bob Hope was a legendary real estate investor as well as a legendary performer during his 100 years, but no property is so closely associated with the iconic funny man than his Palm Springs mega-mansion.

Designed by famed modernist architect John Lautner and inspired by a volcano, the concrete and steel house has hit the market at a stunning $50 million.

The house, also described as looking like a giant mushroom, has just under 24,000 square feet.  There are six bedrooms, 10 baths and three half-baths.
