Mel Gibson's ex Oksana Grigorieva has dropped a lawsuit against two lawyers who allegedly screwed up her custody settlement with the Hollywood star.

In a "request for dismissal" filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court on May 20, 43-year-old Grigorieva asked a judge to dismiss the case against Ron Litz and Daniel Horowitz without prejudice, Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned.

When a case is dismissed without prejudice, it signals that none of the rights or privileges of the plaintiff are considered to be lost or waived. That means Grigorieva could sue again.

According to the Russian pianist's lawsuit, which she originally filed herself and without legal counsel in January, the deal masterminded by Litz and Horowitz was shoddy because it prevented her from pursuing any future legal action against Gibson, 57.

She was demanding unspecified damages.

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Gibson agreed to pay Grigorieva $750,000 and continue to provide housing and financial support for their young daughter, Lucia, to resolve their pair's bitter battle that followed the release of hate-fuelled audio recordings of the actor to this website.

As part of the agreement, their daughter secured support equal to what the actor-director provides for his other seven children.

Grigorieva and Gibson also agreed to split custody of the girl, who turns 4 in late October, whilst maintaining 16 years of rent free accommodation in a $1.8 million Los Angeles home.
