Troubled ex-child star Amanda Bynes has thanked people for "lying" about her and making her famous in the wake of her May 23 arrest.

"The DA and my lawyer talked today," she tweeted on Monday afternoon.

"They have no proof of drugs on me or around me at anytime during the arrest of after. All I'm becoming is more famous! Thanks for lying about me!"

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, Bynes, 27, was booked for criminal possession of marijuana, as well as reckless endangerment and tampering with physical evidence.
