Troubled country singer Randy Travis remains in critical condition on Friday after suffering a stroke while in the hospital earlier this week, Breaking Celebrity News is reporting.

"Mr. Randy Travis has been under heavy sedation since he came out of surgery late Wednesday night, July 10th, and is resting comfortably," his rep told Breaking Celebrity News in a statement.

"He is still in critical condition. His family continues to ask for prayers and support."
