Ariel Winter’s estranged mother has had another setback in court, because Breaking Celebrity News has learned that the lawsuit that she filed against an actor who called her an “abusive monster” has been dismissed.

In court documents obtained by Breaking Celebrity News, Matthew Borlenghi’s attorney argued that his client did not defame Chrisoula Workman in a comment posted on the Los Angeles Times website about a story about her Modern Family actress daughter.

Workman had claimed that his comment was laced with “with personal animosity, hatred and ill will,” leaving her reeling with “shame, mortification and hurt feeling.”

The comment was posted on the story where Workman alleged that her 14-year-old daughter was sexually involved with an 18-year-old actor.  Borlenghi is a friend of Ariel’s older sister, Shanelle Gray, who now has custody of the actress.
