There was a lot of scuttlebutt at the end of Ethan Hawke’s marriage to Uma Thurman that director Quentin Tarantino’s near-obsession with the actress was to blame but Breaking Celebrity News has exclusively learned that as time has passed whatever bad blood existed between the pair has finally, gratefully dissipated.

A source close to happily remarried Hawke (who has known the Pulp Fiction director for 18 years) says that may be because Hawke is finally getting respect as a filmmaker in his own right.

After receiving critical acclaim for his writing of the movie Before Midnight, there are whispers that Hawke could very well land an Oscar nomination in the Best Screenplay category this year.
