Chris Brown will be calling the Los Angeles County Twin Towers Correctional Facility home for the next month, as a judge ruled the bad boy singer will remain behind bars until at least April 23, Breaking Celebrity News is reporting.

During the brief hearing Monday afternoon, Brown appearing in a jail issued orange jumpsuit, and his attorney, Mark Geragos asked the judge to allow his client to return to rehab, or be placed under house arrest.

The judge declined, and ordered Brown to stay in jail until April 23.

His criminal assault trial in Washington is scheduled to begin at that time. The District Attorney and Geragos were told to come up with a plan to make Brown available for those proceedings.

On Friday, Brown was arrested and taken to jail after being kicked out of a rehab facility for allegedly leaving without permission, and refusing to take a drug test upon returning.
