There’s big news from the Clinton camp today, and it has nothing to do with Hillary’s presidential run. Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton announced this afternoon that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinksy, are expecting their first child — just as Breaking Celebrity News exclusively reported two months ago!

“Mark and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year,” Chelsea said during an appearance with her mother at Girls: A No Ceilings Conversation in New York City on Thursday. “I just hope that I will be as good a mom to my child, and hopefully children, as my mom was to me!”

Breaking Celebrity News was first to spot Clinton’s growing bump back in February, when she looked noticeably curvier during New York Fashion Week events.

The announcement was a long time coming for would-be grandparents Hillary and Bill.

Chelsea previously said they “would tell you without blinking an eye that it would make them the happiest thing on earth if I were to make them grandparents.”

And Bill once admitted, “My goal is to live to be a grandfather.”
