As Breaking Celebrity News exclusively reported earlier this week, Rooney's wife, Janice, 75, wanted the late star to be buried at Peirce Brothers Cemetery next to his mother, but on Friday she relinquished the demand and Rooney, 93, will be buried in Hollywood.
"On April 8, 2014, my attorney reached an agreement with Mr. Augustine's counsel that no one would take any action with regards to Mickey's body until we had a chance to some to some resolution," Jan stated in her April 11 declaration.
"Circumstances beyond my control have kept Mickey and I apart for the last year of his life. I have also been dealing with some serious health concerns of my own. I took comfort in knowing that one day we would be living together again or share a final resting place.
