That was fast! Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star Anna “Chickadee” Shannon just got engaged to her boyfriend, Michael Cardwell, on the show’s Season Three finale, but the couple are ready to walk down the aisle— and only Breaking Celebrity News has all the down-home details.

Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s big sister, 19, will wed truck mechanic Cardwell, 21, on May 3, 2014, in a backyard ceremony at a friend’s Georgia home, a family insider tells Breaking Celebrity News.

“They planned the entire wedding themselves, with no help from a wedding planner,” the source says of the McIntyre, Georgia natives. “Anna and Michael are even writing their own vows!”

The bride will trade her usual tee shirt and jeans for a white silk gown with a sweetheart neckline and long train she purchased on sale for just $212 from Lightinthebox.com, according to the source.

And the bridesmaids— Shannon’s best friend Candace and sisters. Jessica, 16, and “Pumpkin,” 13 — will also sport thrifty dresses.
