On the heels of her troubled son Collin's special needs treatment in a facility far from home , Kate Gosselin has been dealt another devastating blow.

In an exclusive interview with Breaking Celebrity News, the Kate Plus 8 star's ex, millionaire Dreamstime.com co-founder Jeff Prescott, 53, claims he and his stunning 27-year-old girlfriend, Jenna Sabacheuskaya, are planning to wed.

"We're engaged and couldn't be happier," Prescott tells Breaking Celebrity News.

As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, the stock photo agency exec ended his relationship with Gosselin, 41, last September after nine months together, and quickly began dating the Belarus-born business major.

But it wasn't Gosselin's big brood that led Prescott to leave the TLC reality star.

"I was fine with Kate's eight children, but I was uncomfortable with the spotlight," Prescott explains. "The eventual deal breaker was the unwanted attention to my private life that I cherish."

Now, one year later, the father of three claims he hasn't spoken to his ex since the split.

"Neither of us has made an effort to reach out," he admits.

The times have certainly changed. In January 2015, Prescott gushed about his then-girlfriend while speaking with Breaking Celebrity News.

"She's a loving, caring mother," he said.
