Poor Cynthia Bailey! The Real Housewives of Atlanta star's estranged husband, Peter Thomas, has a seriously shady legal past to rival that of his infamous financial woes, Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively reveal.

The club owner, who as Breaking Celebrity News revealed, was accused of defrauding an investor of $150,000 and owes hundreds of thousands in business-related taxes, was once arrested for drug possession and issuing worthless checks, a felony.

According to Florida's Miami-Dade county court records obtained by Breaking Celebrity News, Thomas was arrested and charged with marijuana possession on August 31, 1995.

After the 55-year-old father pled not guilty, the case was dismissed due to lack of prosecution.

He was arrested and charged again with marijuana possession nearly six years later on June 8, 2001.

This time, the judge withheld a formal conviction and instead issued a fine.

In a much more serious case, the Bravo reality star was arrested for writing worthless checks totaling more than $150, a felony, on June 4, 1997.

Though the court scheduled a trial, the prosecution ultimately dismissed the case.

Unfortunately, detailed documents for all three cases have been destroyed by the court.

Thomas' past is no longer Bailey's concern. As Breaking Celebrity News reported, the model, 48, announced the couple's separation in June after months of marital problems.
