Southern Charm star Craig Conover’s first case as a lawyer could be representing himself, Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively reveal.
Conover, 28, was hit with an explosive lawsuit on April 27 for hitting cyclist Corey Hamilton three years ago. Now, Hamilton is seeking damages for his "physical pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, and medical expenses."
Hamilton claimed in Charleston, South Carolina, court documents that he was riding his bicycle “in the same direction as traffic” and “as far to the right in his lane as possible” when Conover “struck” him while backing out of a driveway.
“It was not yet dark when this collision occurred,” the alleged victim detailed.
Local South Carolina outlets reported that Conover was driving the car he uses on the show, and Hamilton refused medical treatment at the scene.
Conover passed the bar exam the day after the suit was filed. His journey to become a lawyer was documented on the show.
