Abby Lee Miller is still fighting the battle of her life with cancer, but from her hospital bed, she wished a loyal former student, JoJo Siwa, happy birthday!

On Saturday, May 19, ex-Dance Moms star Miller posted an Instagram throwback photo from happier days. It showed Miller hugging Siwa as she wore her dance costume with camera crew members in the background. Both were all smiles.

Miller praised Siwa for her support and loyalty for her mentor, captioning the shot, "Happy birthday @itsjojosiwa your work ethic continues to make me proud everyday! Thank you for all of your continued support, you - JoJo with the Bow Bow have never forgotten where your TV journey started and that shows what a truly great kid you are. Hope your day was fantastic! Siwa turned 15 on Saturday. She appeared on two seasons of Dance Moms.
