Ray J & Princess Love Welcome Daughter: 'I Can't Wait To Be A Dad!'

Congratulations are in order for new parents Ray J and Princess Love!
Breaking Celebrity News can confirm that after over 24 hours of labor, the first-time parents welcomed their daughter, Melody Love Norwood, on Wednesday, May 23 at 2:52 pm PT.
She was born weighing exactly 7 pounds and was 19 and a quarter inches long.
“This was one of the most incredible experiences of my life,” Ray told Breaking Celebrity News exclusively. “I’m so glad my daughter is finally here! And I can’t wait to begin life as a dad.”
There had been many rumors the baby was coming, after Kim Kardashian’s former video partner announced on his social media that “It’s time.”
But Breaking Celebrity News was able to confirm that as late as Wednesday morning, Love was still in labor.
“She has been in labor for over 24 hours,” a source told OK! "The doctors said she and the baby are doing fine they’re just waiting it out.”
While the insider said the first-time parents were shocked it took so long, “they’re feeling good” and are very excited to spend time with their new daughter.
“Nobody expected her labor to go past 24 hours — they expected to walk in and have a baby,” said the source. “But, thankfully everyone is okay.”
