Abby Lee Miller is taking nothing for granted. The cancer-stricken former Dance Moms coach now finds joy in the smallest things and on Saturday, June 2, she was thrilled to just get some sun on her face! Miller, 51, posted a photo on Instagram of herself with her head tilted directly at the sunny sky outside her hospital with her eyes closed.

She captioned the shot, "Going outside to feel the sun on my face was wonderful!!!Kids, never take anything in this world for granted! It can all change so suddenly! The Brilliant Dr. B cleared me for sunning this afternoon! Woo Hoo! Thank you sir!  #abbylee #dancemoms #aldcla #ALDC."

Miller used to be a sun worshipper. In fact, on Friday, June 1, Miller had shared with fans a throwback photo on Instagram of herself standing by a pool in happier times. She wrote, "Happy Friday!!! I should be planning a weekend of fun in the sun at the pool! ☀There’s nothing I enjoy more than swimming and a good tan! Instead, I start round 3 of chemo......... another battle that I must win!!!"
