Lyric McHenry’s loved ones had no idea she was pregnant until they learned of her sudden passing, her best friend exclusively told Breaking Celebrity News.

Etienne Maurice said McHenry was so close to him he viewed her as a sister. So he was shocked when he found out that not only was her life taken too soon, but that she also was expecting a child.

Initial reports claimed the former E! star was 20 weeks along. Maurice told Breaking Celebrity News that nugget of news was hard to believe.

“Nobody knew,” said the friend. “I’m trying to figure out how. I’m completely blindsided.”

McHenry’s closest friend explained that the aspiring producer didn’t even look pregnant.

“She was small! She was skinny,” he explained. “It doesn’t make sense.”

He added that he wasn’t even sure if McHenry had any clue.

“I don’t even think she knew,” he said.

The 26-year-old was found on Tuesday morning sprawled out on a Bronx sidewalk unconscious. She was taken to a hospital and pronounced deceased.

Breaking Celebrity News previously reported that McHenry was last seen entering a white BMW with a mystery male.

The Internet star was allegedly found in possession of a small bag of cocaine.

Breaking Celebrity News spoke to another friend of McHenry’s outside of the E! star’s mother’s home in California on Wednesday. He, too, was shocked by the pregnancy news.

“[expletive], I didn’t even know she was pregnant and they’re left there like that,” Jason explained. “That’s cold blooded.”
