Lyric McHenry’s body has arrived in her hometown of Los Angeles after she was suddenly found dead in New York earlier this month, Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively report.

Family spokesperson Edna Sims confirmed the news to Breaking Celebrity News.

“Her body arrived Thursday,” Sims said.

The EJNYC star was found unconscious and unresponsive on Aug. 14 by authorities. NYPD confirmed with Breaking Celebrity News at the time that she was sprawled out on a sidewalk. No signs of trauma were observed.

The New York City Medical Examiner’s Office told Breaking Celebrity News it has not received results on McHenry’s autopsy as of Friday afternoon. Although sources told Breaking Celebrity News earlier this month that drugs likely contributed to her death. The 26-year-old was found in possession of a small bag of cocaine when her body was located.

Earlier this week sources told Breaking Celebrity News that McHenry’s parents were “desperate” to bring her home to Los Angeles for her funeral.

Now, Sims said there will likely be two services – one for the public and another for family, although dates have not been confirmed as of Friday.

As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, McHenry celebrated her birthday with her sister, Maya, and friends in New York City hours before her shocking death.

A friend exclusively told Breaking Celebrity News the aspiring film producer was last seen getting into a white BMW with a mystery man.

McHenry’s closest pal told Breaking Celebrity News he believed she may have overdosed on drugs.
