Sons of Anarchy has suffered its third heartbreak this year. As Breaking Celebrity News has learned, actor Paul John Velasquez died this Monday night at age 48.

"This news has come as a surprise to us," a rep for the actor told PEOPLE. "Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed."

The star was found unconscious inside his father's San Jose, California home, according to a report. While paramedics tried to revive him at the scene, it was too late.

While Velasquez's exact cause of death has not been revealed, he is thought to have suffered a heart attack.

As Breaking Celebrity News readers know, Velasquez's untimely death comes just four months after his crime series costar, Alan O'Neill died of undetermined causes at age 47.

One month before that, show star David LaBrava was forced to mourn the suicide death of his teenage son.
