Just months before he allegedly opened fire on a Southern California bar and killed at least 12 innocent victims, cops were called to Ian Long's home in Newbury Park following a disturbance, Breaking Celebrity News can confirm.

On April 4, 2018, Long, 29, appeared to be "quite distressed," Ventura County Sheriff Geoff Dean told Breaking Celebrity News.

The military veteran had been acting erratically, and concerned neighbors called cops.

"We received a call for a disturbance, so we went out there and contacted him," Sheriff Dean told Breaking Celebrity News. "He was quite distressed, so we called our mental heath professionals, which is our crisis intervention team."

"They evaluated him and decided he did not qualify under 5150 to be taken in. They gave him some referrals, talked to him for a while and released him. We then left the area.”

As Breaking Celebrity News reported, his family has been questioned by the FBI in the aftermath of the tragedy.

Sadly, actress Tamera Mowry's niece Alaina could be one of the victims. As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, the local college student is still missing hours after the shooting in the Thousand Oaks' eatery.
