‘Alaskan Bush’ Star Matt Brown Back In Rehab 3 Months After Leaving Treatment

Troubled Alaskan Bush People star Matt Brown has checked into rehab again. Breaking Celebrity News can exclusively reveal Billy and Ami Brown’s son is back in treatment only three months after checking out.
“He entered treatment at Betty Ford in Palm Springs area secretly right after New Years,” a source close to the family told Breaking Celebrity News.
The rehab stint comes after Breaking Celebrity News reported Billy and Ami “threatened” to fire the 36-year-old from the show if he doesn’t focus on his sobriety.
“He was on a bender and took action to save his life,” the insider claimed. “His family is supportive. They are so happy he is safe and focused on his recovery again.”
Matt confirmed the rehab stint on Thursday, January 24 when he posted a photo of a Betty Ford mug.
“Thank you Mrs. Ford,” he captioned the photo.
Matt checked into rehab for the first time in 2016 after a DUI arrest.
He entered an in-patient treatment center for alcohol abuse in September 2018. He left after 30 days despite his family urging him to stay for 90.
“They would like to pick up next season with Matt being sober and healthy," a source told Breaking Celebrity News at the time. "That is what Billy had planned."
But when he left rehab in November 2018, he fought with his father over his demands to have a 24/7 sober coach.
He then left Washington for Palm Desert, California, where he went MIA for several weeks.
“Matt has not returned home to his family since he left for the desert almost one month ago,” a source told Breaking Celebrity News in December 2018. “Matt was not with his family for Christmas and all that they really know is that he is somewhere in the desert.”
