Jail Time? Alec Baldwin Could Face Charges Over Shooting Death Of Halyna Hutchins

Alec Baldwin could possibly face civil charges for accidentally shooting and killing Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust last week.
According to Pace Law School professor Dr. Leslie Y. Garfield Tenzer, she believes the actor could face civil charges for Hutchins' tragic death, not because he pulled the trigger that fatally wounded the crew member, but because he was a producer on the film and the production company owner overseeing the entire operation.
Because of that, she believes he could potentially face a wrongful death lawsuit, The Sun reported Tuesday.
And while Baldwin could be vulnerable to a civil lawsuit, Tenzer also believes two people working on the production of Rust could potentially be charged with involuntary manslaughter: assistant director David Halls and armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.
Tenzer's thought that Halls and Gutierrez-Reed could be charged with involuntary manslaughter is a belief shared by Bill Davis, a former police officer and now current prop master armorer who also spoke to the outlet regarding the matter.
"There's a lot of negligence and stuff to go around here. Heads are going to roll," Davis said Tuesday. "I don't want to see anyone get into trouble, but if I was still a police officer, or a judge, then I would be pursuing criminal charges."
Both Tenzer and Davis also agree that there is definitely the possibility that Baldwin is charged in civil court for his role as producer on the film, therefore opening up the possibility of him and his production company being charged in civil court for a wrongful death lawsuit.
