Angela Bassett Looks Like A Boss On Set Of '9-1-1' After Negotiating Massive $450,000 Per Episode Raise

Angela Bassett was back on set of her hit FOX show 9-1-1 looking a lot richer than she did last season.
The 62-year-old actress was photographed in full costume as her character Athena Grant.
Bassett was spotted making power calls on her cell phone while walking around near her trailer. The Black Panther star looked like a boss and she has every right to be.
Not only did she negotiate a big raise but she also has been EP on the project since its launch. Earlier this week, Deadline broke the story, Bassett was able to secure a massive pay raise for season 5 of the FOX show 9-1-1.

The Oscar-nominated actress had her team fight hard to score her new salary of $450,000 an episode. The raise makes her one of the highest-paid actresses on network televisions.
The show creator Ryan Murphy had built the show around her, and Bassett was key in developing the show before it hit the air. Bassett not only stars and executive produces on the flagship show but is a producer on the spin-off 9-1-1: Lone Star.
