Britney Spears called 911 to report herself a "victim of conservatorship abuse" hours before her powerful testimony.
According to an explosive new report in The New Yorker, the 39-year-old singer made the emergency call on the eve of her hearing.

As the outlet points out, emergency calls made in California are public, but "the county, citing an ongoing investigation, sealed the records of Spears' call."
The New Yorker claims members on the Grammy winner's team "began texting one another frantically," adding they were "worried" about what she might say to the judge the following day.
As Breaking Celebrity News exclusive reported, Spears begged officers at the Ventura County Sheriff's Department to come to her home over a "civil issue" on June 22.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's department told Breaking Celebrity News, Spears arrived at their office the day before her hearing, but she was only there for a "brief period" before asking officers to meet her at her house.
Deputies agreed and went to the Toxic singer's nearby property. We're told Spears gave officers information about a "civil issue," but no report was taken.
Spears was spotted looking distraught coming out of the police station that day.
