Britney Spears reappeared after going missing in action for several days, just moments before her father, Jamie Spears, prepped paperwork to step down as her conservator.
After a 13-year battle, the 39-year-old pop star showed she was ecstatic to be one step closer to freedom by making her social media return, just days after warning her followers that she would be sharing significantly less of her personal life.
Spears proved she's a creature of habit because she didn't stay away for long.
Making her triumphant Instagram return on Thursday, the Grammy winner was back to posting selfies in a tiny shirt and shorts.
Spears looked joyful, and now we know why.
Sporting a tied-up white shirt and unbuttoned denim shorts, the singer flaunted her flat stomach while posing barefoot in her backyard.
"Made you look," she teased her 33 million Instagram followers, marking the first time anyone has seen the star since taking the L in her conservatorship battle.
She wasn't done there because moments later, Spears posted again. This time, she complimented her appearance while admitting to airbrushing -- but just a bit.
