Britney Spears Demands Father Jamie Spears Be 'Charged With Conservatorship Abuse' After Judge Signs Off On Singer's New Attorney

Britney Spears wants her dad Jamie Spears "charged with conservatorship abuse."

The 39-year-old pop star spoke out during her conservatorship hearing on Wednesday, demanding action be taken against her father.

Spears made it clear -- she phoned into today's hearing to show "who I want as my new lawyer and to get rid of my current lawyer and my dad," reports The Sun.

"I’m not sure how long it takes to get a restraining order but I want to file for abuse and an investigation against my dad," the singer stated.

Spears also told the judge she has "always been scared" of Jamie.

"I was scared he would show up drunk. I counted and in one week alone, I was abandoned 63 times by all of my family members as I sat in the trailer and watched them leave from the window," she revealed.

"My dad needs to be removed," she said of her conservatorship. "He needs to be removed today.

Britney added that she is "fine with Jodi helping me to get more confidence and get out to the real world" but remained firm on her stance that she needs her dad gone.

Spears' plea came after the judge granted her wish, allowing the singer to hire former federal prosecutor Mathew Rosengart as her new legal representative in the conservatorship battle.
