Courtney Love Cobain is "truly sorry" for lashing out at Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and accusing Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor of abusing young girls.
On Monday, the 56-year-old widow of Nirvana singer Kurt Cobain and mother of 28-year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain told her 1 million followers she needed to "apologize for my recent post."
"It was insensitive and it was wrong," she explained. "No matter how I feel, there are real people behind my words and I need to learn to be more responsible with my words."
"I am truly sorry for those I've hurt," she concluded. "I will do better."

Over the weekend, Love came out swinging against Grohl, claiming she intended to contest an arrangement she and the Nirvana alum had in place regarding royalties.
Love had previously been in a legal battle with Grohl and Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic over the band's rights, but they seemingly reconciled years ago. Courtney and Dave even hugged it out during Nirvana's 2014 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
Then in 2019, Love, Grohl and Frances Bean Cobain all teamed up against fashion designer Marc Jacobs over a trademark dispute regarding the Nirvana smiley face logo.
But sometime from then until now, something went awry, at least in the eyes of the once-lead singer of Hole.
