After 18 seasons, Ellen DeGeneres is one of the most successful talk show hosts of all time -- however, after all the scandal, Ellen wants to make sure that she is remembered for her successes, not her failures.

“Of course Ellen approved the promo that was just released. Nothing with her name on it goes out until she approves it,” sources tell Breaking Celebrity News. “Normally, announcing a new season is a big deal, but this season, being the last and after everything that has happened, is a huge deal. This is the beginning of Ellen reminding everyone what she and her show are really about. This is the beginning of Ellen fighting to save her legacy.”
