Former New York Giants player Luke Petitgout was arrested in Miami at Italian restaurant Carbone early Sunday.
According to Page Six, Petitgout was arrested after a fistfight with waitstaff which ultimately led to his friend James Philip Bruner pulling a gun on the restaurant staff.
Miami Beach police stated in their arrest affidavit of the incident that according to “witnesses and victims,” Petitgout and his pal “were causing a disturbance with the restaurant’s staff, preventing them from commencing their closing procedures. An argument ensued with both defendants and the restaurant staff, which consequently became physical.”

The arrest affidavit also states that three victims claimed to the police that Petitgout “struck” them “with a closed fist” during the fight, while another stated that he “purposefully pushed him in the midst of the altercation.” Another staffer at the restaurant claimed that after he was hit “with a closed fist” by Petitgout during the fight, Bruner “produced a firearm and pointed it directly at him.”
Petitgout and Bruner were arrested at the scene and taken to the station, where they were processed and sent to Turner Giulford Knight Correctional Center.
