Being on mom duty is hard, especially when you have to take care of your kids while your ex-husband frolics all over New York City with his once fiancée-turned-on-again-girlfriend.
Jen Garner made the most of her solo time with her children while her former husband Ben Affleck packed on the PDA with his leading lady Jennifer Lopez 3,000 miles away in the Big Apple at the Met Gala.
As her ex continued his affection-filled tour with J Lo on the red carpet of the year's biggest night in fashion, Garner romped around Los Angeles with the former couple's three kids — Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9.
While her outfit didn't fit the Met Gala's "American Independence" theme, Garner slapped on a brown flowing number, perfect for a date with her spawn in sunny SoCal.
Rocking the simple patterned attire, Affleck's ex-wife paired the afternoon look with strappy sandals, an Apple watch, and retro sunglasses.
