Kelly Clarkson has spent over a million dollars battling her ex-husband’s over custody of their kids and spousal support.
As Breaking Celebrity News previously reported, last week, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge recently ruled the talk show host has to temporarily cough $200,000 a month in support to her ex-Brandon Blackstock.
The order states Clarkson is ordered to pay $150,000 a month in spousal support and another $50k in child support for their 2 kids. The amount was determined based on Clarkson’s monthly income of $1,722,681 and Brandon pulling in $139,844 a month.
The number could change once the two reach a settlement. The divorce is really costing Clarkson a pretty penny.

According to court documents obtained by Breaking Celebrity News, the American Idol winner has spent $1,187, 525 in attorneys and professional fees and another $100k in costs for a grand total of $1.18 million.
For his part, Blackstock has spent a substantial amount more on his legal fees. In court documents, the judge noted that Clarkson's ex has spent $1,464,525 in fees and another $112k in costs for a grand total of $1.57 million.
The judge ordered Clarkson to pay $1 million towards Blackstock's legal bills and another $250,000 for him to hire a forensic accountant to comb through her finances.
