Oct. 20 2021, Published 1:14 p.m. ET

Meghan McCain is at again with another public figure.

In her forthcoming audiobook, Bad Republican, the 36-year-old former View co-host trashes Seth Meyers for how he allegedly treated her when she was a guest on his talk show, Late Night with Seth Meyers.

The political pundit accused the comedian of intentionally making her feel unpleasant during her interview with him while she was pregnant with a baby she later miscarried.

Daily Mail's newest columnist claimed that the talk-show host started grilling her with questions over her criticism of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, who once described the terrorists involved with the 9/11 attacks as "some people who did something."

McCain found the comment to be "dangerous" and "grotesque."

Meyers later told her that the congresswoman had apologized and felt she should "just let it go."

However, McCain said the comedian "kept hitting the same question over and over" to purposely make the moment to go "viral."

"I said something along the lines of agreeing to disagree," she said in the audiobook, according to an excerpt published by The Daily Mail. "But he was having none of it. He kept hitting the same question over and over."

"To me it seemed like virtue signaling and like a moment choreographed to go viral," she added.

She claimed during the interview that Meyers "appeared to take in" her discomfort to the point that the "studio audience stopped laughing."

"I would never treat someone that way on my show," she said. "In my role as a host, I'll press something twice, but I won't do it more than that if they're not going to play ball, or they're going to spin it, because that basically means it's clearly time to move on and late-night TV is not supposed to be Meet the Press."
