Prince Charles returned to his royal duties amid all the drama circulating around his newborn granddaughter's name.
The 72-year-old looked happy and stopped to talk to fans while visiting a production plant for the Mini at Cowley near Oxford on Tuesday.
Looking dapper in a gray suit with a blue tie, Charles appeared to be in good spirits despite reports that Prince Harry failed to get permission from Queen Elizabeth to use her childhood nickname as his daughter's name.
Charles remained completely unbothered while chatting it with attendees up during his outing, even mentioning his grandchildren. Harry and Meghan Markle's latest addition marks grandchild number five for the royal.
"The development of technology like electric vehicles, or green hydrogen for that matter for heavy transport, is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I'm only too aware of today having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time," Charles stated.
"And such happy news really does remind one of the necessity of continued innovation in this area, especially around sustainable battery technology, in view of the legacy we bequeath to our grandchildren," he added.
