Rapper T.I. claims he was arrested after an incident where a police officer’s car was damaged. The 40-year-old posted a 2-minute video taken inside an Amsterdam jail cell.
He spoke to the camera telling his followers, “So, I’m locked up now, I’m obviously not supposed to have my phone.” The rapper added, “And because I didn’t have my passport on me. I don’t know. It will be fine.”
During the short clip, a jail official can be heard in the background asking T.I. to get something quickly.
T.I. brushed off the officer and continued telling his story. He didn’t fully explain the situation but said it involved an accident where a police officer had rear-view mirror broken.

The rapper also mentioned not having his passport with him at the time. T.I. said the officer was “extremely upset. I was having a great time. I’m still not upset. I’m having a phenomenal time.”
He said the officers arrested him but didn’t place him in handcuffs. T.I. said they just opened the door of the police car and invited him into the back seat. T.I. said he “obliged” to the request and was taken down into the holding cell.
